Alternating, one length is cut completely through the cardboard, and one length is cut half through. This way a kind of tear-off line is created which makes sure the cardboard keeps a certain rigidity to be transported through the cutter while it is easy to take out the design afterwards.

Some Summa users also use this function to save application tape.

• A big design is cut with FlexCut (completely through and half through the vinyl, NOT through the carrier).
• The complete vinyl is stuck.
• The unnecessary parts are weeded.
