What is FlexCut?

FlexCut      
Summa’s FlexCut feature makes it possible to cut designs out of cardboard.Alternating, one length is cut completely through the cardboard, and one length is cut half through. This way a kind of tear-off line is created which makes sure the cardboard keeps a certain rigidity to be transported through the cutter while it is easy to take out the design afterwards.

Some Summa users also use this function to save application tape.

  • A big design is cut with FlexCut (completely through and half through the vinyl, NOT through the carrier).
  • The complete vinyl is stuck.
  • The unnecessary parts are weeded.
